About The Office

Our family-friendly office is located in Spearfish, South Dakota where we proudly serve the Spearfish community and its surrounding areas. The Eye Love philosophy began with treating every patient as family and providing premium eye care services to our local community. Our advanced technologies ensure that no eye condition will go undiagnosed and that proper treatment will always be provided to fit the individual needs of each patient.

When you arrive at Eye Love Spearfish, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our team and subsequently, check-in for your appointment. If this is your first time visiting us, you’ll be asked to fill out a few pieces of information.

Upon completing your paperwork, our team will review your patient information to ensure we have the correct information on file. This is our chance to ensure there haven’t been any changes to your insurance or your coverage. We don’t want you to experience any surprises!

After you’ve properly checked in, you’ll be greeted by Dr. Randolph who will complete your appointment. No matter what brings you into our offices, we are confident you’ll have a wonderful experience!

What to Expect Upon Arrival

Dr. Randolph

Dr. Randolph was born and raised in the Seattle area. He attended and graduated from Washington State University, where he was a member of the track and field team. He received his Doctorate from Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana, in 2008, after which he worked and trained in a primary care practice with an emphasis in pediatric vision therapy. His next position was in a full-scope optometry practice that involved primary eye care for all ages, diagnosis, and management of ocular disease, contact lenses, and co-management of refractive and cataract surgery. Dr. Randolph is excited about using this background and training to meet the full scope of eyecare for his patients, with competency, sincerity, and compassion.

Dr. Randolph has a strong passion for, and special interest in, Pediatric eye care and Vision Therapy. Our visual system plays a vital and sophisticated role in how we process the world around us. Studies estimate that 90% of what we learn first enters our brains through the visual system. After experiencing first-hand how strengthening and integrating the neural connections between our visual system and the world around us can help us all in our everyday lives, Dr. Randolph feels even more inspired and motivated to help his patients maximize their visual world. To this end, he completed a year-long post-graduate seminar with Robert Sanet, OD FCOVD, international lecturer and teacher, on using behavioral optometric care and vision training techniques to improve academic learning, sports performance, and increased satisfaction with everyday life. Dr. Randolph is eager to bring his experience and expertise in these areas to the Black Hills, and to use these skills to help his patients to realize their full visual potential.

Dr. Randolph married his incredible wife, Chelsea, in 2009, who was born and raised in Sundance, Wyoming. They now have five amazing little children. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, fishing and just about any and everything that has to do with the water. They are excited to become a part of the Black Hills community.
